I credit my success to carefully listening to my clients and understanding their aspirations, tastes and budgets.

I have been practicing interior design for over 22 years.  Prior to that I graduated Carnegie Mellon University with a triple major in humanities, language and business and then began my career in retail and insurance and ultimately as a Trust Officer at Chase Manhattan Bank.  I attribute these early career experiences to my strong business, organizational and project management skills which are integral to the success of my Interior Design business.

After starting a family, I went back to school to pursue my life-long passion, graduating from the New York School of Interior Design as a fully certified designer. From the start, my interior design practice has grown steadily, entirely based on word-of-mouth recommendations. I credit my success to carefully listening to my clients and understanding their aspirations, tastes and budgets.  Once I know what my clients want I efficiently zoom into their project, as I pride myself on being extremely knowledgeable about sources and keeping up with the latest industry developments.

My experience is broad in terms of project styles, although my recent projects have me increasingly focused on more Transitional work (what people in interior design refer to as modern classic).  I have worked on both residential and commercial projects.  Most of my residential work as of late has been from the ground-up.  This has me working with my clients along with their architects and builders on new construction or gut renovations from structural features to final finishes and furnishings.  Presently I am working on a multi-year restoration of an historic 37 room home in Los Angeles; a new construction condo apartment in Boca Raton, Florida to be completed this summer; all furnishings and finishes for a now being completed large home re-modeling in New Canaan, Connecticut; and a renovation of a New York City, Gramercy Park apartment, which I originally designed 10 years ago.

My corporate experience includes both design and renovation of the IMAX Corporation NYC Headquarters and the design and furnishing of offices and conference rooms for Moody’s Investors Service.  I work with sources and showrooms that have full lines for both residential and commercial use.

Not only do I bring my design sensibility to my clients, but I also have, through my hands-on experience, assembled a team of skilled professionals to support all aspects of my projects.  In fact, while I was primarily New York Metropolitan Area and Hamptons based, my team of skilled workers has travelled with me to projects all over the country.
